The MAIN OBJECTIVE of PRIAM project is the development of radically new autonomous road signals and lighting modules (tail light) integrating heterogeneous functionalities on plastic foils by high throughput homogenous processes.

Specifically the project addresses the development of two prototypes integration on a flexible substrate: energy harvesting and storage, communication, control, sensor to measure light intensity, intelligence and light emitters. PRIAM is supported by funding under the Seventh Research Framework Programme of the European Union.

The project is financed under the Work Programme ICT-2009-4. STARTING DATE: 01/01/2010 COMPLETION DATE: 31/12/2013
